Chapter Chapter 9 in Financial Mathematics, Derivatives and Structured Products, 2024, pp 83-89 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract A fund is an investment scheme that pools money from investors. It is managed by investment advisors known as fund managers, usually from a management company that is legally and financially distinct from the fund and its assets. A fund has the objective to produce higher risk-adjusted returns than its benchmark (typically an index).
