Abstract: AbstractLarge language models (LLMs) are a type of Generative AI technology that have gained significant attention in recent years. Trained on massive amounts of data, these models are capable of generating human-like text and carrying out complex tasks with remarkable accuracy. After comprehensively explaining Generative AI and the foundation model, this chapter introduces the concept of LLMs, followed by their significance in the area of NLP, history, architecture, key components, and adaptation methodologies.
