Abstract:
Abstract This chapter provides a short literature review on the empirical nexus between income distribution and economic growth. It briefly discusses the economic impact of changes in the functional distribution of income (wage- versus profit-led economic regimes), but also approaches the topic of equality- and inequality-led economic growth, as well as the distributional impact of economic growth.
