On Some Supposed Obstacles to the Tendency of Market Prices Towards Natural prices

Pierangelo Garegnani

A chapter in Capital Theory, the Surplus Approach, and Effective Demand, 2024, pp 353-384 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract I had thought of taking this occasion in order to tidy up some reflections which had been stimulated many years ago by my reading of a first draft of Ian Steedman’s ‘Natural Prices, Differential Profit Rates and the Classical Competitive Process’, which was to be published some years later in the Manchester School 1984.
