Abstract:
Abstract I am not an economist or economic historian, only a philosopher. However, I wish to address the problem of the relationship between economics and the understanding of societies and their social and historical dimensions towards a consideration of the complexity of economic interactions. Fortunately, the work of Richard Arena[aut]Arena, Richard, who is not only a recognised economist and economic historian, but is also very open to philosophy, has already explored these problems.
