Abstract The chapter refers to the strategic adaptations made by Colombian entrepreneurs, throughout their business life cycle, and the importance they give to their social relationships in the process of evolution of their business activity, aspects of its idiosyncrasy, and the door is opened to interpret the microenterprise as a complex organism that reacts to its environment.
