A chapter in Academic and Educational Entrepreneurship, 2022, pp 153-158 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This contribution intends to show how the entrepreneurial and academic worlds can benefit from a greater diversity of integration. It addresses the specifics and commonalities of both worlds and makes recommendations for how synergies can be more effectively harnessed. A taxonomy of acapreneurship is proposed through seven hybrid forms of entrepreneurship and academia. The chapter concludes with a call for action to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions of acapreneurs.
