Chapter 8 in Prescriptive Analytics, 2024, pp 159-188 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Decision quality requires more than logical calculation of a particular value measure such as profit for a given set of alternatives and uncertainties. This chapter introduces decision analysis techniques that help ensure high quality in the information (through value of information analysis), values (through utility functions and stakeholder analysis), and alternatives (through strategy tables).
