Abstract: Abstract The Chapter “Financial flows and annuities” is devoted to the study of financial flows of both general and regular types. The first section (general financial flows) studies the reduction of financial flows to an arbitrary point in time, the average term of a financial flow, internal rate of return (IRR). When studying regular financial flows, or annuities (rents) the following questions are investigated: ordinary annuities (postnumerando rents), annuities due (prenumerando rents), perpetual, fixed-term and continuous annuities, annuities with mid-period payments, immediate and deferred annuities, variable annuities, arithmetic and geometric annuities. A comparison of financial flows and annuities, annuities conversion and pension task are studied.
