Chapter 20 in Realizing Organizational Effectiveness, 2024, pp 69-71 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Stakeholder engagement is a common phrase in contemporary business parlance. Visionary business leaders recognize that it is not only important to respond to and address stakeholder expectations; they also need to keep stakeholders appropriately informed at all times. Communication of information is actually an expectation that both employees and customers share given their interest and involvement in or with an organization and their desire for that business relationship and arrangement to continue. Neither employees nor customers will thus be unpleasantly surprised when things are happening that may impact their continued relationship with an organization.
