Chapter 8 in Design Science Methodology for the Management Sciences, 2025, pp 159-165 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, we focus on the implementation of the artefact into the organization or another context where the field problem is detected. Concerning the implementation, the field of change management can be important. We describe the theory of Lewin concerning unfreezing-moving-freezing and the technical political cultural (TPC) framework in organizational change. In the end, we present the iterative design science process, loosely based on the work of Hevner (Scandinavian Journal of Information Systems 19:4, 2007).
