Abstract: Abstract In Chap. 1, two of the market participants that were introduced were investors and lenders. In this chapter, these two market participants come to the forefront. When structuring loan documentation and amortizations for investment property indebtedness, the types of arrangements provided often depend on the motivation for investment by the investor, and as we will discuss in a subsequent section, the objectives of the lender.
