Abstract: Abstract In chapter 10, the basics of the Internet and their impact on multichannel marketing are presented. Building on this, the client–server principle, web development, and the most important internet services are explained in more detail. In addition, the development of the human–machine interface is described and explained using the HMI model of human–machine interaction.
