Chapter 25 in Multichannel Marketing, 2024, pp 531-547 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Chapter 25 deals with distribution policy. The chapter begins by explaining the basics such as the content and objectives of distribution policy and the factors that influence the distribution structure. Distribution policy in vertical marketing is then considered. Here, warehousing, picking/packing, transportation, and order processing are discussed in particular. Finally, these topics are considered with regard to multichannel marketing.
