Abstract:
Abstract Multivariate analysis deals with a set of dependent variables for analysing the data. It is a separate branch of data analysis which is growing rapidly with the advent of statistical software. Multivariate analysis is useful only when the variables are correlated. This chapter discusses the basic issues of principal component analysis, factor analysis, and multivariate regression analysis. These techniques are widely used in empirical research in different areas with cross section data.
