Abstract:
Abstract Historically, if a country periodically redrew electoral districts or reallocated seats in the national legislature among fixed districts or multi-member districts, it was the national legislative body that usually exercised that authority indirectly through a legislative committee, with the final authority resting in the national legislature itself. Some nations continue to use this structure.
