Abstract: Abstract One of the features of the international monetary system after World War II has been the establishment of international financial organizations (Bretton Woods Institutions) as an integral part of the governance structure to manage the international monetary system. However, the views about the role of the international financial organizations, especially the International Monetary Fund (IMF), have been largely divided into two approaches.
