Abstract:
Abstract This chapter concludes the discussion by first outlining the development of Shanghai’s economy following the beginning of the Reform and Opening-up Policy in 1978, which fundamentally transformed the basic elements of the socialist system, before finally reexamining the historical significance of the Chinese socialist system in context.
