He had devoted his entire life to rigorous study of income inequality, poverty, and redistribution, with major contributions in every possible dimension like models, data, policies, etc. Every single work of his is marked with unparalleled clarity and depth leaving an impression on economists from around the globe. This collection of thirteen articles has been influenced heavily by some of Atkinson’s innovative ideas directly or indirectly.
