Chapter Chapter 4 in Progress toward Liberalization of the Postal and Delivery Sector, 2006, pp 59-74 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The drive toward a single market for network industries (e.g. telecom, gas, electricity and postal services) in Europe has brought about in the past decades a series of directives aimed at creating more integrated and liberalized markets. Such a liberalization path has led to sector-specific legislation taking into account the peculiarities of the different markets (i.e., the revenue, cost, technology and nature of the services being provided).
