A chapter in The Economics of the Postal and Delivery Sector, 2022, pp 285-302 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The covid-19 economic crisis shows that our economic model is sensitive to external shocks. The traditional linear “take, make, dispose” economy has an economic cost and poses a problem of sustainability in the medium and long term. The transition towards a circular economy aimed at eliminating waste and the linear use of resources would limit the risks of external shocks and could be an opportunity for postal operators.
