Chapter Chapter 13 in The Postal and Delivery Contribution in Hard Times, 2023, pp 191-206 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The global Covid-19 pandemic public health crisis led to dramatic changes in society as consumers and businesses adapted to a new emergency with substantial government-imposed restrictions on normal life. The main changes included: requirements to work at home for office workers, “social distancing” and wearing of face masks, restrictions on meeting other people and public gatherings, a ban or severe limitations on non-essential travel, and mandated closure of non-essential shops, leisure and hospitality venues.
