Chapter Chapter 8 in The Postal and Delivery Contribution in Hard Times, 2023, pp 111-123 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In the next 2 years, an extensive debate at the European level on the regulatory framework of the postal sector is expected. The questions that will be discussed include whether the current postal directive has satisfied the expectations of political and economic stakeholders, and whether there a need for changes and, if so, of what type. One of the issues at the center of the examination will probably be the access regime to postal networks. This chapter addresses access regimes in the postal sector by presenting the “state of the art” in some major European countries.
