Abstract: Abstract Digitization is a rapidly developing phenomenon that is disrupting many industries and activities, including the mailing industry. It is important to understand whether the dramatic drop in letter volumes and revenues, experienced by the overwhelming majority of Postal Operators (POs) in industrial countries, can be linked to the disruptive effects of the digital revolution.
