Abstract:
The progress in ICT is felt not least through innovations they bring in the education system. Modern technologies offer in sphere of education such opportunities as access (unlimited by time and location) to courses, lessons, trainings online, automated testing of capabilities, and more. On the other hand, the teacher's role (coach, mentor) in orientation, education and formation of student's personality was and remains paramount. This paper addresses the problem of qualitative combining these two important factors of the educational process: the modern technology tools for teaching and learning on one hand and professional tutor assistance on the other hand. The work analyzes the role of the educational system in view of the impact of the ICT on the economy in general and on the educational values in particular. At the same time there are mentioned the negative aspects and the risks that can arise from the uncontrolled and irrational use of the modern technologies in the educational field.
