Abstract:
Business Process Management and Knowledge Management are now considered to be the most important methods implemented in contemporary enterprises. It is essential to analyzed, modelling and constantly improve processes. The process maturity models can allows to assess the current state, point out strengths and weaknesses of an organization, indicate areas in need of improvement. The main aim of this article is to systematize the knowledge on process maturity models and the diagnosis business process management in Polish companies in relation to international research. The article presents the results of empirical research in the area of process maturity of companies in knowledge perspective conducted by the authors in Polish enterprises in 2014.
