Intangible Assets Index: An Empirical Study Based on a Shares Information Technology Company

Abstract: As our country’s economic development mode changes from relying on the input of capital and material elements-extensive economic growth mode to rely on scientific and technological progress and human capital-intensive economic growth mode, the intellectual property rights and human capital as a typical representative of the intangible assets are more and more activities in the enterprise value creation. This paper is based on the theory of technology innovation, the theory of core competence and the theory of sustainable competitive advantage, combining with questionnaire investigation, using AHP and entropy method, constructing intangible assets evaluation index, in order to reveal the technological innovation ability, the core competitiveness and sustainable development capacity of enterprises, then making empirical test by information technology industry listing Corporation 2010- 2012 data, and analyzing the results.
