Abstract: Knowledge is a value and the acquisition and implementation of them, therefore a learning and teaching, are important in the educational process. Today, together with teaching that remains the challenge of modern education in the flood of many upcoming communication technology innovations. In everyday school practice, educators are asking ourselves how important learning and teaching are to all participants in the learning process, what progress is being made and the most challenging issue that leads to the pursuit of it is our own progress in teaching as a teacher. In the article I want to present the use of different teaching methods and students’ progress with a use of different teaching methods. The methods used (interview, explanation with the use of cooperative learning and research work, etc.) were varied in each class and conducted throughout the year of teaching. After hours of teaching in the case of one departmental community where the methods were changed every three months, I found very different, perhaps some unexpected results: greater curiosity, better learning outcomes (better oral / written grades) and progress (success in competitions) , experiential learning, getting rid of prejudices and stereotypes, etc. The grades and progress of a class were monitored the whole year by recording and realizing students' knowledge at each hour of the same subject when using a particular method. After each three-months follow-up of the used method, a short self-reflection of the teacher and a class was followed, in which the interview with the class was conducted in a search of the advantages / disadvantages of the methods used and the success / progress of the class and as well the individual. The quality of teaching and learning is related to the research of the teacher's and learner's work by constantly renewing knowledge, thinking about their work and how it interacts with the work of another. An important learning factor is also the learning environment. It turned out that for this kind of teaching and learning it takes a lot of (self) initiative, which ultimately leads to the success and results you set as a learner / teacher.
