Abstract: When teaching I often come across a topic that relates English to another subject. Having such a lesson used to make me feel less self-confident. You know some basics on the topic but the students look up to you as someone who knows what he or she is talking about. With all the teachers at school, there is always someone who is an expert in that field. Why not ask that colleague to take an active part in your lesson? I have had many lessons like this in this school year and I must say both of us teachers enjoyed it and the students always ask when we are going to have another lesson like this. The students learn more and they see how all we try to teach them is actually connected but only has different perspectives or translations. Moreover, we as teachers teach them how to cooperate since we are a proof that it is possible to join forces to do better. Hand in hand is not usual but it pays off.
