Abstract: Education in kindergarten differs from education in school because pre-school children accept and understand basic information from different curricular fields without learning. Therefore, it is important to gain children's concentration for sensible observation, naming the reality, enumerating characteristics and simple syntax, through which they gradually build word skills for description. On each curricular field – language, math, nature, society, art and exercising, we should predict the ability of a child to connect the knowledge of related fields. In the project, which we present in our autor book about the founder of Novo mesto, pre-school children understand the story as a time travel, having in mind their awareness of the past and history. We can freely play with numbers to obtain child's awareness of four-number years. With the help of magic powers Rudolf can also be sent to different historic periods, where we set events and personalities and gradually build up child's knowledge, even further to school period. The stage play maintains the black – white painting which enables us to gain interior understanding of the darkness and evil, which every man in this world has to fight against. This is what Rudolf, the hero of our stage play, talks about: »This world is black – this world is white … And it has never been grey! But without your judgement for the good it shall never be colourful!«
