Abstract: At the Secondary Technical School and Specialist Grammar School, which are part of the Kranj School Centre, Slovenia, a public event named Robot’s Day takes place every November. Its main aim is to present the professions of the future, encompassing the fields of electronics, mechatronics, and computer science, to the general public. Primary schools from the Gorenjska region and its surroundings, businesses and individuals linked to the professions of the future are invited to the event, as well as secondary students who present their innovative products. Various workshops are organised for Robot’s Day, their content connected to the fields of mechatronics, computer science, and electrical engineering. The workshop participants gain knowledge in fields of programming, energy, electronics, pneumatics, CNC, and become familiar with various 3D animations. The workshops are run by the teachers of the Kranj School Centre. Students from the School Centre assist with the workshops. The event has been very well-attended each year and its participants have shown a high level of interest in acquiring new knowledge.
