Abstract:
Establishing distance communication between management, teachers and parents/pupils is being accomplished in a number of ways through school web sites, emails, SMS and/or calls. Response from the parents has been massive and affirmative. Within a few days, all parents have accessed our Lo.Polis schooling platform using the passwords they received via email. We provide pupils with daily subject-related content that follows the goals of the syllabus, we offer on a daily basis a variety of educational, entertainment and training content, some of it via Video Zoom Conference. e parents have praised the excellent organization of homeschooling work, communication such as a quick response of teachers, as well as interesting and diverse tasks for pupils at home. At the same time, they have also pointed to their difficulties in providing computer equipment, in which cases we have provided them with school computers delivered to their homes. Homeschooling requires special responsibility of all of us. It requires the self-discipline of doing homework as well as persistence. Reviewing all the completed tasks remotely is virtually impossible. Trust has been established, and above all, the connection between parents/pupils and teachers by communication through the media. gether we can do more. Solidarity, tolerance, social maturity and gratitude have connected us in this unexpected situation. e facts I am writing here are just the beginning of our current day-to-day life. We hope for the best to all our parents and pupils. Our biggest wish for all of us: "Stay healthy!"
