No 4 in The Economy in the Austrian Federal Provinces from WIFO

Abstract: Aufgrund von Energiepreisschocks mussten viele Sektoren zuletzt empfindliche Einbußen hinnehmen. Besonders stark betroffen sind die Herstellung von Waren, die Bauindustrie sowie der Handel. Demgegenüber verzeichnete die Tourismuswirtschaft einen antizyklischen Verlauf, sodass sich insgesamt ein sehr heterogenes regionales Konjunkturbild ergibt.
