Abstract: Ausgehend von der gegenwärtigen Verschuldungslage der Oststaaten befaßt sich die vorliegende Arbeit mit dem künftigen Kapitalbedarf des Ostens und seiner kurz- und langfristigen Finanzierung. Der Schwerpunkt der Analyse lag auf der Problemaufarbeitung im allgemeinen, doch wurden die für Österreich relevanten Aspekte in einigen Kapiteln besonders herausgestrichen.
