N. N.
in WIFO Studies from WIFO
Abstract:
The construction outlook for the 19 Euroconstruct countries had to be revised downwards once more in light of the prolongation of the sovereign debt crisis. All construction sectors (housing, non-residential and civil engineering) are expected to decline in the Euroconstruct area in 2013 – overall construction output is predicted to decline by 1.6 percent. Residential construction will be the only sector with cumulative growth in the forecast period of 2012 to 2015. The outlook is less favourable for non-residential construction and civil engineering. – The Euroconstruct Summary Report provides a macroeconomic analysis and an overview of the European construction industry by sectors (housing, non-residential construction and civil engineering, new and renovation, respectively) up to 2015. The Summary Report additionally includes selected speeches and presentations of the 74th Euroconstruct Conference held in Munich in December 2012.
