Abstract:
AbstractThis paper was requested, in the early stages of Conference planning, by the late Jane Carter. She was an inspiration to many, especially in the field of energy efficiency and in international energy networks of all kinds. In particular, she contributed greatly to many activities of the BIEE and IAEE. I feel very privileged to have known her and dedicate this paper to her memory.
