Abstract:
Governments do not have the option. They are stewards by nature. Governments, in general, would readily acknowledge their obligation “to be wholehearted and responsible in their management of the assets with which they have been entrusted so that they pass them on in a better condition”. This is the very definition of stewardship. The approach that the state takes towards wealth creation will, however, be a particularly vital determinant of its overall success.
