Abstract:
Thank you very much and congratulations to the team for a very engaging and thoughtful piece of work, which we have read and reviewed with great enthusiasm. What I want to do is really to reaffirm the importance of this index in the context of the changing world of cities, and to observe and confirm some of the important directions that this index is taking us, in relation to measuring cost and affordability in cities compared to everything else that is already out there. I had a look into some of the results which are very striking to me. As somebody working in many of the cities that are mentioned at various levels and at various price points within this index, it helps me to identify what is surprising and why, and at the same time, focus on what policymakers may draw on from this study and how it may be applied around the world…
