Abstract: Dear David,It has been several weeks since I last wrote to you. I’ve been very busy over the last three weeks attending to a friend’s funeral. Do you remember Uncle Sam Linden? He used to babysit you when your mom and I had to attend dinner functions. I know you love him dearly. He was such a fun-loving guy. Sam never ran out of jokes and pranks. Every time he babysat you, we had to pray that the house would still be standing by the time we got back. Sam passed away three weeks ago while playing tennis. He was charging to slam an easy shot when he collapsed suddenly and died of a heart attack. He had just celebrated his 49th birthday before his last tennis game. It pained me to see his wife, Sally, and their three children so grief-stricken. They were utterly shattered by the sudden loss of a husband and father. It’ll take them some time to get over their grief…
