Chapter 8 in Start-up Thailand:The Entrepreneurs' Journey, 2020, pp 91-106 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Abstract:
Wongnai, which means ‘insider’ in Thai, is a lifestyle portal that features over two hundred thousand restaurants, salons, spas, and other information across Thailand on its platform, together with details of each merchant and user reviews. Staying ahead of global and local competition is not easy in the disruptive world of start-ups and Wongnai is moving beyond its original focus and exploring other possibilities such as parenting sites and even pet services. CEO and co-founder, Yod Chinsupakul, is one of the business leaders behind the current crop of new generation businesses in Thailand, where he is now inspiring the next wave to find their passions and follow their dreams.
