Abstract:
This current study examines the impacts of authentic leadership (AL) on symmetrical internal communication (SIC) and employee–organization relationships (EORs) in the context of the aviation industry in Vietnam. The proposed model and hypotheses are tested using survey data from 175 employees working in aviation organizations in Ho Chi Minh City. The structural equation modeling (SEM) results indicate that AL positively affects EORs both directly and indirectly, through SIC. The results mean SIC acts as a device connecting AL to enhanced EORs. Also, the study provides theoretical and practical implications as well as suggested directions for future research.
