Abstract: In a world with an ever-growing inventory of information, a plethora of knowledge and expertise is free these days if you can find it. But often finding what we need is somewhat of a challenge, and navigating it is a profitable business in itself. This is probably the reason why expert networks have shown double-digit growth in recent years; getting in touch with someone who already knows what you need to know saves a substantial amount of time and effort when information is abundant and of greatly varying quality. The same goes for consumer choices. For nearly any given service or product, there are a multitude of price points and form factors which are often hard to even compare with each other – let alone with their substitutes…
