Abstract: Asking for the right things and making good decisions truly is the origin of a great life. Our best life is something which may seem like a challenge to obtain, but it shouldn’t feel like an unsurmountable one. Much of the disconnect between who we are and who we could or should be is created by a want-focused society rendering itself in a perpetual state of deprivation. There is a natural limit to what we truly need, but there is no such limit to wants. But before you misread the practice of listening to your own needs as a form of restraint, it’s time to appreciate just how important constraints are to a life well-lived. My favourite way of illustrating this is by way of your personal dreams – say your dream future house…
