Abstract: ‘Experiment. Grow. Care.’ — this motto has guided most of Surya Ramkumar’s life. As a child, she loved sports, books, and numbers. Training 4 h a day, she played national badminton, while topping 10th-grade exams with a record 98.2%. Traversing successfully across the corporate world — from Accenture to Citigroup to McKinsey to Microsoft, she is also an author and has published her first book. Gender equality, ethics in technology, and using technology to empower the marginalized are important to her.
