Abstract: Pew Research surveyed 4,000 American workers to understand their views on a future with artificial intelligence, automation, and robotics. The first idea that came to these people’s minds regarding these technologies was negative. Indeed, 72 percent reported that they were primarily worried about robots and computers being able to perform human jobs. The Pew survey demonstrates that our society does not seem to understand the full picture of the benefits it would get by using automation.
