Abstract:
This study investigates the mediating role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in the relationship between Locus of Control, Self-Efficacy, and Employee Performance at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The research examines factors influencing employee performance and provides management insights to improve operational efficiency and sustainability. The study highlights the airport’s critical role in regional development, tourism, and export promotion, benefiting the local population and the broader Mekong Delta. The research utilized both qualitative and quantitative methods, including a survey of 252 employees. The analysis employed Cronbach’s Alpha, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to validate the research model and test hypotheses. Results confirm that improving Locus of Control, Self-Efficacy, and OCB positively impacts employee performance, offering valuable implications for airport management and future research in the aviation industry.
