Abstract: There are few things more exciting than a chase. To track, hunt, run after, or pursue something is exhilarating. It might be the story of our lives; we chase our dreams, we seek to be more than we are, we help others in their quest, and we marvel at those whose chase ends in something fantastic. To chase is to engage with the knowledge that success will be sweet, but failure is a possibility. However, to decline the chase might lead to lasting regret or, at best, a bittersweet memory. So, we choose our chases carefully. Perhaps we choose those with little risk. Or, we take our chances and shoot for the moon. Most likely, we do some of both as our story unfolds. Those outcomes, good and bad, are the times of our lives…
