Abstract: Management and leadership are not identical: A manager does not necessarily have to be a good leader, vice versa, a good leader does not necessarily have to be a good manager. The distinction between pure management and leadership can be defined in such a way that management is primarily about execution, while a leader is also concerned with how this is done. Leaders who, in contrast to pure management functions, act as role models or provide inspiration and do not merely perform routine functions, are also seen as such leaders. They should also be able to lead the organization in such a way that it adapts to the respective environment in the best possible way…
