Abstract: Prof. Aharoni was awarded the prestigious Israel Prize for his outstanding academic contribution to the field of management, during an academic career that spanned over half a century. It was the first time, since its establishment in 1953, that the Israel Prize was awarded to a scholar in the field of business management.
