Abstract: The novelty of this research lies in the conditional division of statistical indicators into groups of potentially interrelated parameters to identify patterns and mechanisms of influence on resulting indicators (e.g., resident revenue and contributions to budgets at various levels) through investments in the infrastructure of special economic zones (e.g., investments from residents, the federal budget, and the regional budget). The authors conducted a correlation-regression analysis of the selected indicators and groups of indicators (e.g., investments from various budget levels combined into one indicator), revealing statistically significant relationships between them. The research identifies which indicators are interrelated and capable of forecasting economic development scenarios for the special economic zone (SEZ). These indicators significantly affect regional economic growth. Special attention is given to examining the impact of investment activities of SEZ residents on their economic performance and the influence of budget investments on budget revenues. The research reveals a strong correlation between these indicators.
